This project was developed for the Northwest Acupuncture and Wellness Clinic as their primary clinic and office location.  The project consists of a fully staff Chinese medical facility and herbal dispensary on the lower floor and meeting rooms and associated office spaces on the upper floor.

The site has two main road frontages so the main gallery and central stair allow the building to be accessed from either east or west entrance.  The design is predicated on a simple, strong diagram of two building components linked by the vaulted central gallery.  The open framing and natural materials provide a warm, slightly industrial vibe that mixes well with the owner’s clinic mentality.
