This is a complete re-work of a classic 70’s residence on Rockaway Beach on Bainbridge Island.  Because of the immediate proximity of the existing structure to the shoreline the existing footprint of the building cannot be expanded and for budget reasons the existing shell must be retained.  The goal is the update the entry sequence and add significant amounts of glass to open the amazing views to Puget Sound.
